Our food

Rogue Salad Co. is a health-conscious restaurant located in Medford, Oregon. We provide our local community with nutritious, convenient, whole foods for a busy and active lifestyle. Rogue Salad Co. offers various healthy, hand-crafted foods, including salads, grain bowls, wraps, soups and smoothies in a quick service environment. We pride ourselves on our seasonally-inspired menu.

Our origins

Rogue Salad Co. is owned and operated by two lifelong restaurateurs, Erica Black & Karen Irving. Together Erica and Karen have over 60 years of experience in the quick food service industry.

What should we have for lunch’? was a common question Erica and Karen pondered every day. With a lack of nourishing healthy food in the area they became increasingly frustrated.

Instead of seeking food from outside sources, they started bringing in their own fresh ingredients to make salads on a regular basis. Erica being the pickier eater, brought the more basic ingredients while Karen would bring a larger variety of foods, always attempting to get Erica to try something new. As staff noticed their new habits, they too became interested. They eventually brought enough lettuce, veggies, seeds, cheeses, fruits, and dressing to feed our whole crew. 

“If we could feed our team, why not a whole community?”

This question sparked the exciting idea of a local, healthy, and fast-casual food concept; a place where everyone could have the opportunity to focus on their own nutrition and wellness journey.
